This just seems completely mental.
How can ten people have a brawl on an aeroplane? I imagine it was over something totally inconsequential too, never mind the inconvenience they caused to everyone else on the aircraft. Rather than turning back the crew should have opened a door and firmly invited them to leave immediately.
