No dig diary, 19th June 2026

Got through a fair bit of planting out today — half a dozen different types of lettuce, and two types of beetroot and leeks. The lettuces are next to my (podding) peas and whilst working there I noticed that peas are on their way 😀

Surprise, surprise, I also did some weeding, removing lots of creeping thistle sprouts from a small area that I’d cleared only two weeks ago.

Loads more stuff to do tomorrow. With a bit of luck I can chug through a whole lot of it before the weather gets unpleasantly hot on Sunday (according to the forecast).
