Or not, in fact. When I went to the website to book today’s session I was told that there was a waiting list for the fast lane, which is quite unusual given that if I’ve ever seen the lane more than half full it’s only a couple of times since Covid kicked off. So I phoned up and was told that in fact the boilers weren’t working properly again and the pool temperature was down to 27°C and they were restricting numbers in the pool as a result, though I’m not entirely sure why.
As a result I, and because I had other things I could be getting on with, I decided I’d skip the session.
A bit disappointing, but the sets I’m doing necessarily involve some hanging about doing nothing between reps which isn’t entirely pleasant when the pool gets that cold.
