My 50m set went pretty well today, though it felt as though I was pushing quite hard. I ended up with six 43s reps and all the others below 45s. I didn’t get as much recovery time as I’d have liked before starting my 25m reps because we were late getting into the pool and that may have contributed to four of those being in the low 19s (all from deep to shallow end, oddly enough), but the rest were all in the 18s. In fact my first three reps starting from the shallow end were 18.66s, 18.67s and 18.66s which was a surprising level of consistency. I was disappointed not to keep them all below 19s though.
Recovery day tomorrow, then back to the pool on Thursday.
