When I was “out and about” this afternoon I noticed huge numbers of crows circling above the house. It was hard to get a photo as I couldn’t see them on the screen of my phone, but there were easily a hundred birds, possibly getting close to two hundred. They circled over the house, possibly riding the thermals off the hill behind us, and eventually disappeared off in a south-westerly direction.
