When I went to collect the harvest from the polytunnel today I discovered that one of the JalapeƱo pepper plants had lost a limb! It had completely snapped off with its load of peppers including the two that I’d tagged to save seed from š
Have to make the best of it though, so I brought them in and I’ll pickle them green.
They’re pretty chonky chiles, too. Don’t think I’ve ever grown JalapeƱos this big before.
Obviously there were also the obligatory tomatoes to harvest. They just keep coming.
