A harvest, at last 🙂

This evening for dinner we had beetroot tarte tatin, broccoli, baby carrots, broad beans, calabrese and sugar snap peas with all the veggies coming from the garden 🙂

Some of the broad beans were a little bitter which was rather disappointing, especially as I’d deliberately picked them fairly small. Still, nothing about them is “normal” this year. Perhaps I’ll let them get larger and then skin the beans instead.
