Our first two casualties…
I went out to the greenhouse to fetch a pepper to add to my lunch but failed to account for how slippery the ground was on the way back and went arse over apex rather heavily. Fortunately nothing is bending in a direction it shouldn’t and there’s no broken skin (because I can’t afford to lose any more blood given how much the NHS are looking after for me), but I may be somewhat sore for a few days.
As I fell, my fingers closed firmly around the pepper and it also ended up looking rather the worse for wear. I did recover what was still possible to eat and added it to my salad, however 😀
