Ok, so the new plan is that rather than swimming on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, I will now swim on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
I’m still working on technique and it seems to be going quite well now. I’ve decided that once I can complete all the reps of my 50m set in under 43s I’ll start to drop the interval time a little.
The 25m reps are still proving to be more difficult in terms of technique. I think I need more arm speed there. The problem is, faster arms means less time to breathe and more need to breathe (I really can’t do 25m at a reasonable pace without needing to breathe). More work is required here.
