Fridays are usually shorter sessions and I wasn’t really sure what I was going to do, but after 20 lengths warming up one of the swimming club parents turned up to do some training on 50s, so I decided to do the same and practice bilateral breathing. I only covered 1,600m as a result, including doing a few lengths of kick at the end, but it’s not been a bad week so I was happy with that.
